Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking an Occupational Health Specialist (LPN) for the 10:00 PM–6:00 AM shift at our Mt. Pleasant site.

You will be the first point of care for employees, delivering routine and emergency medical attention and maintaining medical records in the on-site nurse’s station. You’ll perform health screenings, respond to incidents on the production floor, support safety initiatives, and help manage workers’ compensation documentation.

Qualifications

• Current unrestricted state license as an LPN required.
• CPR/First Aid/AED card required; urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections may be certified later.
• Prefer 1+ years’ nursing experience; clinical hours acceptable for graduates.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate health records for OSHA and state compliance.

In this key role, you will serve as the first point of care for employees, providing both routine and emergency medical attention for work-related and general health issues. Based primarily in the on-site nurse’s station, you will deliver care, conduct health assessments and screenings, and manage medical records. The role also requires mobility to respond to incidents on the production floor, helping maintain a safe, heal thy, and productive workplace.

What You’ll Need

• Education: Current unrestricted state license as a Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse required.
• Certifications: Current CPR/First Aid/AED card required. If selected, Pilgrim’s will facilitate becoming certified in urine drug screen and breath alcohol collections.
• Experience: Prefer 1+ years’ experience in the nursing field. Clinical hours can be acceptable for graduate nurses.
