Job summary

InterMed in Maine is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support workplace health services. The RN will assess and manage injuries and illnesses, coordinate care, and promote wellness within our employer-sponsored program.

The role requires an ADN or BSN and a Maine RN license, with BLS within 6 weeks. A minimum of 3 years’ nursing experience and strong clinical judgment are preferred.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN from an accredited institution is required.
• Unencumbered Maine RN license and BLS within 6 weeks of hire.
• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred; strong clinical judgment and prioritization.

Responsibilities

• Assess and manage occupational and non-occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Provide care planning, treatment, follow-up, and care coordination.
• Coordinate Workers' Compensation processes and return-to-work efforts.
• Promote health, wellness, and disease prevention through education and programs.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and HIPAA-compliant records.
• Support onsite health promotion and population health initiatives.
• Utilize IV therapy and phlebotomy as appropriate.
• Ensure infection prevention, safety, and regulatory compliance.
