Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program.
• Three years of professional RN experience in a clinical setting.
• Current, unrestricted RN license in Michigan.
• Basic Life Support certification required; competency validation for assigned duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational health nursing services within RN scope and policy.
• Coordinate standing orders, clinical pathways, and referrals with medical staff.
• Conduct pre-placement and periodic health assessments and reviews of immunizations.
• Administer vaccines, manage testing, and document findings.
• Respond to exposure incidents and coordinate post-exposure follow-up.
• Maintain confidential employee health records and logs.
• Track immunizations, screenings, exposures, and respiratory protection compliance.
• Collaborate with HR, Infection Prevention, and department leaders on health initiatives.
• Provide education on bloodborne pathogens, immunization, and safety protocols.
