Job summary

Medcor seeks an on-site Occupational Health RN to support a large manufacturing facility. You will provide first aid, urgent care, and wellness activities, while collaborating with safety teams to maintain a safe workplace.

You will document care in EMR, assist with OSHA records, and coordinate with workers’ compensation as needed. The role requires strong clinical judgment and communication in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted RN license for the applicable state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Strong assessment, triage, and clinical decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal onsite supervision.
• Proficiency with electronic medical records and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide first aid, triage, assessment, and treatment for workplace injuries and illnesses.
• Respond to workplace medical emergencies and coordinate EMS as needed.
• Document patient encounters accurately in EMR and company systems.
• Assist with OSHA recordkeeping activities and injury/illness documentation.
• Support workers' compensation and non-work-related injury management and case coordination.
• Perform reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing following regulations.
