Job summary

Premise Health in Knoxville, TN is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to care for client employees and dependents at our health center. The role involves nursing assessments, administering medications, and coordinating care with physicians.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate health records, following infection control, and providing health education. A BSN is preferred and BLS is required; ACLS may be required depending on contract scope.

Qualifications

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or AS degree is required.
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice.
• Basic Life Support certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may be required.
• Certifications in Occupational Health Nursing or Emergency Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient care needs, prioritize treatment and maintain patient flow.
• Conduct nursing assessment including history, physicals and vital signs.
• Collaborate with Physician or LIP for further medical treatment when needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as directed by a physician.
• Maintain medical records and ensure privacy and accuracy.
• Follow infection control procedures and maintain a safe environment.
• Provide health education and necessary training to patients.
• Handle follow-up calls and visits with patients.
• Identify equipment needs and coordinate repairs with leadership.
