Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Indiana is seeking aRegistered Nurse in a full-time Employee Health role. You will perform health assessments, immunizations, TB screening and OSHA compliant procedures while coordinating with occupational health physicians and the emergency department.

You will ensure proper clearance to work, maintain employee health records, and support infection control initiatives, aiming for high-quality employee health services in a not-for-profit multi-hospital system.

Qualifications

• Requires an RN degree with current Indiana registration.
• CPR & TB certification.
• Minimum three years nursing experience; occupational health, safety, public health and nursing education desirable.
• Experience with data entry in HR electronic system and standard office software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct new hire health assessments, prepare documentation and perform data entry.
• Administer and oversee immunization and drug screening programs; ensure proper clearance to work and track outcomes.
• Coordinate TB screening programs, administer PPD tests, TB questionnaires and chest x-rays.
• Explain and apply employee health policies and procedures.
• Liaise with Occupational Health physician or Emergency Department for on-duty care; investigate injury/illness progress and document outcomes.
• Support infection control to protect employees, non-employees and patients; ensure compliance with relevant policies.
• Maintain employee health files and related computer data.
