Job summary

TEEMA Group is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our occupational and ambulatory health team in Maryland. The role offers independent practice within a collaborative medical setting and requires strong clinical skills.

You will perform exams, manage conditions, prescribe within scope, educate patients, and maintain records while partnering with physicians and staff. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:00 PM, with a contract arrangement and potential

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted state RN license.
• Nurse Practitioner certification through ANCC or AANP.
• PA license in state of practice.
• NCCPA certification for PA track.
• DEA registration and prescriptive authority where required.
• BLS and ACLS as applicable.
• 3+ years of clinical experience as NP (ambulatory/occupational health) or PA.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and preventive care.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and ongoing conditions.
• Perform injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develop care plans, monitor progress, and ensure continuity of care.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications within scope.
• Educate patients on diagnoses, treatments and wellness.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other staff.
• Refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Maintain complete medical records and documentation.
• Educate nursing staff on clinical best practices.
• Support occupational health services and workplace health initiatives.
