Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing (RN) required.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current State of Arizona RN license required.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
• COHN certification from American Board of Occupational Health Nurses preferred.
• One year of technical training or additional skills training for licensure/certification to perform more advanced clinical skills.
• Experience with Health & Safety program administration preferred.
• One year of experience using Windows-based software applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-employment, annual, and Fit for Duty health assessments for employees, volunteers, and contracted staff.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate employee health education programs in collaboration with infection control, safety, and benefits teams.
• Coordinate early return-to-work for injured/ill staff and arrange appropriate accommodations.
• Triage and follow up on employee injuries/illness with referrals to contracted physicians or counselors per established protocols.
• Document and maintain confidential employee health records in accordance with regulations.
