Occupational Health Nurse

Registered Nurse with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in nursing.

Essential Functions / Responsibilities

• Conduct and provide health profiles/screenings, health evaluations, health promotion education, and drug screenings following written/demonstrated protocols.
• Effectively document interactions and outcomes of employees seen.
• Communicate and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to foster an effective occupational health, wellness, and safety program.
• Competent with venipuncture or finger sticks.
• Use computer skills (Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Email). Previous experience within a manufacturing facility is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or Medical Assistant (MA).
• Minimum experience: 5 years in relevant work beyond formal education.

Additional Details

• Work varies; mainly sedentary with some data entry, primarily seeing employees for yearly lab work.
• Equipment used includes Glucometer, Cardiocheck.
• Mainly sedentary physical demands.
