Job summary

Salinas Valley Health Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to serve as an Employee Health Services Nurse Clinician. You will provide direct and indirect nursing care under established protocols, support occupational health programs and collaborate with Infection Prevention to protect staff health.

The role requires an CA RN license, BLS, with COHN/ACLS preferred. Two years RN experience with Employee/Occupational Health is preferred.

Qualifications

• ASN is required; BSN preferred.
• Current California RN license and BLS/Healthcare Provider status. COHN/ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for minor and acute injuries per department protocols.
• Perform pre-employment and annual health screenings.
• Monitor employee health trends and support prevent/return-to-work strategies.
• Conduct bloodborne pathogen exposure assessment, treatment and follow-up.
• Coordinate immunization programs and surveillance for staff health.
• Document visits in Employee Health EMR with confidentiality.
• Advocate for employee health and safety; support departmental goals.
• Perform ergonomic assessments and provide workstation recommendations.
