Job summary

ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC in Houston, TX, is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to deliver on-site occupational health services at an H‑E‑B distribution facility. You will assess, treat, and support employee health while aligning with safety protocols.

The role emphasizes injury prevention, wellness programs, and collaboration with nursing and safety staff. Board-certified NP with active Texas license and CPR/BLS will thrive in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

Board-certified Nurse Practitioner with an unrestricted Texas license.
Current CPR/AED/BLS certification.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
Familiar with Microsoft Office suite and basic databases.

Responsibilities

Provide direct, onsite patient care and professional services to meet coverage hours.
Deliver occupational health services including assessments, histories, physicals, and treatments.
Prescribe medications and treatments per evidence-based standards.
Collaborate with safety staff to implement medical protocols and emergency plans.
Educate and guide other clinical staff as appropriate.
Support injury prevention and wellness programs to improve employee health.
Monitor health surveillance and respond to health concerns.
