ProgressiveHealth Occ Health, LLC is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner to provide onsite occupational health services at an H-E-B distribution facility in Corpus Christi, TX. The role includes assessments, treatments, and collaboration with safety staff to implement medical protocols.

Ideal candidates hold an NP license (or PA with board certification), maintain CPR/BLS, and can prescribe medications as needed.

Qualifications

• Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with active, unrestricted license in practice location
• Active NP license in state of practice
• No current disciplinary actions by any state or federal authority
• No Medicare/Medicaid exclusions or government debarments
• CPR/AED/BLS certification (or ability to obtain before starting)
• Strong written and verbal communication, confidentiality, and professionalism
• DEA license if prescribing controlled substances

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, onsite patient care and professional services to meet coverage hours
• Deliver occupational health services including assessments, histories, physicals and treatments
• Prescribe medications and medical treatments per evidence-based guidelines
• Collaborate with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols and emergency plans
• Educate and mentor clinical staff as appropriate
• Support injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve health
• Monitor employee health and respond to health concerns as needed

ProgressiveHealth is looking for PRN Nurse Practitioners to join our team at an H-E-B distribution facility in Corpus Christi, TX. In this role, you’ll provide occupational health services in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You’ll work directly with employees, helping them stay healthy, safe, and productive while supporting injury prevention and wellness programs. What will you be doing in this role?

• Providing direct, onsite patient care services and professional services to meet client-requested coverage hours
• Delivering occupational health services, including assessments, histories, physical exams, and treatments
• Prescribing medications and medical treatments based on evidence-based practice standards
• Collaborating with nursing and safety staff to implement medical protocols, procedures, and emergency plans
• Providing guidance and education to additional clinical staff as appropriate
• Supporting injury prevention initiatives and wellness programs to improve employee health and productivity
• Monitoring employee health, conducting surveillance for occupational and non-occupational health risks, and responding to health concerns

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Successful completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program with Board Certification
• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner in state of practice location
• Not currently have any professional disciplinary proceeding of any state or federal authorities or any disciplinary action of any medical facility in any jurisdiction
• Has never been excluded, suspended, or otherwise sanctioned by Medicare, Medicaid, or any other third-party payor, nor listed on any state or government list of excluded individuals, parties, or specially designated nationals list as debarred, excluded, or otherwise ineligible for participation in government healthcare programs.

CPR/AED/BLS certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)

A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication

Be able to maintain confidentiality

Basic computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

A healthcare provider must hold a valid and in-good-standing license and/or certification to practice in the State or Country where the facility of employment is located; or be eligible to obtain such a license and have current CPR/AED/BLS certification.

If clinical operations require writing prescriptions for controlled substances, a valid DEA license is required.
