Materion in Elmore, OH seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to lead occupational health services for the site and other domestic locations. The role requires medical exams, injury treatment and program oversight, including Fitness for Duty, ADA accommodations and return-to-work processes.

You will review complex cases, coordinate with the Corporate Medical Director, and support emergency response health activities while ensuring HIPAA compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice in the State of Ohio as physician assistant or nurse practitioner.
• 3 years of experience as a physician’s assistant or nurse practitioner preferred.
• Injury treatment experience required.
• Occupational health experience preferred.
• Fitness for Duty assessment experience preferred.
• Return to work examination experience preferred.
• Preplacement exam experience preferred.
• HIPAA proficiency.

Responsabilités

• Treat Elmore injuries and perform required medical exams (pre-placement, return to work, Fitness for Duty).
• Coordinate the occupational health aspects of the Emergency Response team.
• Consolidate OSHA related medical screening information for review by the Corporate Medical Director.
• Review complex injury/illness cases and coordinate with site incident management teams.
• Provide medical oversight of work conditioning, transitional work, ADA accommodations and annual permanent restrictions review.
• Provide first aid management for non-occupational emergent cases at Elmore.
