Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of nursing school.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Successful completion of a 30-hour IV therapy course within 30 days of hire for inpatient/SNF only.
• BLS certification is required and maintained.

Responsibilities

• Provide and document patient care as directed by the RN or provider.
• Administer oral and injectable medications per LPN scope.
• Perform IV therapy as ordered by the provider.
• Triage patients and determine next steps in care in collaboration with the nursing team.
• Communicate patient information to the RN and healthcare team.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment with attention to patient safety.
