Occupational Health Services Coordinator

Play an integral role in supporting the health, safety, and workforce readiness of the craft workforce that delivers some of the industry's most complex industrial construction projects. As an Occupational Health Services Coordinator, you will help ensure employees are medically qualified, compliant with project requirements, and ready to mobilize safely and efficiently across Worley construction projects.

Working closely with Craft People teams, project leadership, HSE professionals, medical providers, third-party administrators, and customers, you will coordinate occupational health programs, medical surveillance requirements, workforce screening activities, and drug and alcohol testing programs that directly support safe project execution and workforce compliance.

Based in Pasadena, Texas, this highly collaborative role serves as a critical link between healthcare providers, operational teams, and project stakeholders, helping maintain the systems, processes, and controls that support workforce readiness across multiple project locations.

Purpose of the role

The Occupational Health Services Coordinator is responsible for administering and coordinating occupational health, medical surveillance, workforce screening, fitness-for-duty, and drug and alcohol testing programs that support craft hiring, workforce mobilization, and project compliance requirements.

Serving as a Designated Employer Representative (DER) for assigned testing programs, you will oversee testing administration, workforce clearances, return-to-work processes, occupational health systems, and regulatory documentation while ensuring compliance with company standards, client requirements, privacy obligations, and applicable regulatory requirements.

This role plays a vital part in supporting safe project staffing, protecting workforce health, and ensuring project teams have access to qualified and compliant personnel when and where they are needed.

You will be responsible for
Occupational Health and Workforce Readiness
  • Coordinating pre-employment and project-specific medical screening requirements, including drug and alcohol testing, audiometric testing, respirator fit testing, physical examinations, and other workforce qualification protocols.
  • Reviewing screening completion status and communicating medical clearances or outstanding requirements to authorized stakeholders.
  • Developing and maintaining project-specific occupational health protocols based on customer, project, site, and role requirements.
  • Identifying and coordinating occupational clinics, collection sites, laboratories, and medical providers to support project mobilization activities.
  • Administering return-to-work and fitness-for-duty processes while ensuring privacy and confidentiality requirements are maintained.
  • Supporting craft workforce onboarding and mobilization activities through timely coordination of medical clearances and compliance requirements.
Drug and Alcohol Program Administration
  • Serving as the Designated Employer Representative (DER) for assigned drug and alcohol testing programs.
  • Coordinating pre-employment, random, post-incident, reasonable suspicion, return-to-duty, follow-up, and other testing activities.
  • Administering testing programs through approved providers and platforms, including DISA and other assigned third-party vendors.
  • Maintaining testing rosters, account records, training documentation, collection-site information, and audit-ready program records.
  • Providing guidance regarding testing requirements, laboratory confirmations, recollections, employee holds, and release-to-work processes.
  • Monitoring testing program compliance and ensuring adherence to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Medical Surveillance and Regulatory Compliance
  • Coordinating medical surveillance programs, including hearing conservation requirements, audiometric testing, respiratory protection programs, and other occupational health monitoring activities.
  • Monitoring testing equipment certifications, calibration requirements, and vendor compliance activities.
  • Supporting OSHA, client, contractor-management, and third-party audits and compliance reviews.
  • Maintaining current knowledge of occupational health processes, company standards, client requirements, and workforce compliance programs.
  • Escalating matters requiring medical, legal, privacy, or regulatory interpretation to appropriate subject matter experts.
Systems, Data Privacy, and Vendor Management
  • Administering occupational health platforms and related workflows, including CORE/Enterprise Health, BlueHive, DISA, FormFox, Concentra, and other assigned systems.
  • Coordinating with Information Security, Privacy, technology teams, and vendors regarding access management, implementations, system enhancements, and issue resolution.
  • Protecting confidential medical and personal information in accordance with privacy requirements and company policies.
  • Maintaining complete, accurate, and audit-ready records within approved systems and repositories.
  • Reviewing vendor performance, service updates, invoices, operational metrics, and account administration activities.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on process efficiency, compliance, and service delivery.
Stakeholder Support and Communication
  • Serving as a primary point of contact for occupational health and workforce readiness inquiries from employees, candidates, recruiters, project teams, HSE personnel, supervisors, customers, and project leadership.
  • Communicating testing instructions, appointment details, documentation requirements, and workforce clearance status updates.
