Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center is seeking an Occupational Therapist to deliver patient-centered care across prescribed programs at the St. Louis MO site.

Responsibilities include organizing and conducting therapies to help patients reach maximal potential while following state practice acts and board guidelines. Applicants should have OT accreditation, active licensure or eligibility in Missouri, and current BLS.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current OT license or eligibility in the hiring state.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Preferred NBOT certification in Occupational Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting prescribed occupational therapy programs to achieve patient potential.
• Demonstrate therapeutic skills within scope of practice while adhering to state regulations and board standards.
• Collaborate with care teams and coordinate patient care programs and related activities.
• Respond to emergencies as needed and support department growth through special projects.
