Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center in St. Louis, MO seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care, organize medically prescribed programs, and contribute to department growth within State Practice Act guidelines.

Education: Accredited OT program graduate; Licensure: MO OT license or eligibility; Certifications: BLS; Preferred NBOT. Mercy offers growth, teamwork, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility in Missouri.
• BLS certification is required.
• Emergency response capability.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care by organizing and conducting medically prescribed programs within the scope of practice.
• Assist in special projects and coordinate activities in patient care programs to promote department growth and development.

Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

13303 Tesson Ferry Rd, Suite 50A St Louis, MO 63128

Hrs: Mon/Wed 8:30-6PM, Tues/Thurs 7:30-5PM, Fri 8-12PM

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Experience:

Preferred Hand Therapy, Custom Splint Fabrication and Neuro experience.

Certifications: Current BLS.

Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
