Job summary

Mercy South County Medical Center in St. Louis, MO seeks an Occupational Therapist to provide patient care under the State Practice Act and Mercy policies. Graduate of an accredited OT program; license or eligibility in the hiring state (temporary license up to 90 days) is required.

Preferred experience includes Hand Therapy, custom splint fabrication, and neuro-rehabilitation. Current BLS certification is expected; must be able to respond to emergencies.

• Preferred Hand Therapy, custom splint fabrication and neuro experience.
• Current BLS.
• Must be able to respond to emergency situations.
• National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy preferred.

Displays treatment skills practicing within the scope of State Practice Act and in compliance with all rules and regulations with National Board and governing bodies in the state of practice. Promotes growth and development of department by assisting in special projects and/or coordinating activities in patient care programs.

Hrs: Mon/Wed 8:30-6PM, Tues/Thurs 7:30-5PM, Fri 8-12PM

Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Licensure: Current Occupational Therapy license or eligibility within the hiring state, may work under a temporary license up to 90 days.

Experience:

Preferred Hand Therapy, Custom Splint Fabrication and Neuro experience.

Certifications: Current BLS.

Other: Must be able to respond to emergency situations.

Preferred Certifications: National Board Certification in Occupational Therapy.
