Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh is seeking an administrative support specialist for the Occupancy department. This role interviews applicants for housing, prepares application information, and performs income and rent calculations while providing concierge services for relocating residents.
Responsibilities include documenting applicant files, updating records, and coordinating with landlords and community resources to determine eligibility.
Summary
The primary purpose of this position is to provide administrative support to the Occupancy department by interviewing applicants for housing, preparing required application information, obtaining references, and performing income and rent calculations and providing concierge service for Relocating residents.
All activities must support the Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh ("HACP" or "Authority") mission, strategic goals and objectives.

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required and a minimum of 3 years professional experience in a social service setting. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
To perform this job successfully, the employee should have strong computer skills (MS Word, Excel, and Outlook). Must have the ability to learn other computer software programs as required by assigned tasks. Bilingualism or multilingualism is a plus.

To perform this job successfully, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position.
