Job summary

Benefis Health System in Montana seeks a RN leader for Obstetrical Services. You will oversee nursing staff, clinical operations, and patient safety within a high-acuity Labor & Delivery unit. Collaboration with the unit manager is essential to maintain excellent patient care and regulatory compliance.

Requirements include active RN licensure, BSN preferred, and current BLS/ACLS/EFM/NRP certifications. Minimum one year L&D nursing experience required; two to five years preferred, with exempt

• Ensure compliance with licensing, policies and regulatory requirements.

Responsible for the leadership and management of the professional services activities of obstetrical services in collaboration with the unit manager. Responsible for all aspects of staff management, departmental management and for creating a professional practice environment that focuses on the patient.

Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines, to be accurate, and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people, deal with stressful situations, and handle conflict.

Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements, regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health System's organization policies and procedures.

Education/License/Experience Requirements:

• Current state Registered Nurse licensure or degree in equivalent management position.
• BSN preferred
• Current BLS, ACLS, EFM, and NRP certification required
• Minimum of one (1) year Labor and Delivery nursing experience required, two (2) to five (5) years' experience preferred
