Job description

Seeking BC/BE Obstetrician/Gynecologist Laborist Candidates

Join a system-wide, multi-provider Obstetrics and Gynecology Service Line at a well-established, progressive practice located in central PA. We offer labor and delivery care with 18 maternity beds, a 16-bed nursery, and an average of 1,200 deliveries per year. Our support team includes a Perinatologist, a Level IIIB NICU with Neonatologists, and 24/7 Anesthesia coverage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide full-scope care for expecting patients on Labor & Delivery and Triage
• Collaborate with a certified nurse midwife who takes the first call
• Participate in flexible scheduling options, including 10-hour day shifts, 14-hour night shifts, or 24-hour shifts, with clustering available
• Join a fully staffed, multi-provider office with experienced OB/GYN physicians, nurse midwives, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants
• Maintain a 1:5 call ratio

• 18-bed Maternity Unit and 16-bed Nursery
• Average of 1,200 deliveries annually at Penn Highlands DuBois Hospital
• Level IIIB NICU with Neonatologist on site
