Core Faculty OB/GYN Physician

Our client is a premier healthcare organization located in Tampa, FL. They are now seeking Clinical Faculty OBGYNs for a new residency program opening this summer! While providers will have their own practice, they will also be precepting two days a week.

The Position: The OB/GYN role is mostly outpatient, private practice, with two days of precepting. Please see details below regarding hospital call, which is limited.

  • Sign On Bonus: $40,000
  • Relocation Assistance – Yes, amount determined case by case
  • Base Salary: $380,000
  • Additional annual stipend: $15,000 for resident precepting
  • PTO: 26 Days
  • CME: 5 Days
  • Student Loan Forgiveness: Eligible for the SLFP
  • Restrictive Covenant: Yes, one year within a 15 mile radius of practice.

Responsibilities:

  • M – F (clinic hours)
  • Precept two days per week at the residency clinic
  • Hospital Call – 3 shifts per month which are 24 hours in length
  • Up to 24 patients per day

Requirements:

  • Full Scope Board Certified OB/GYN with prior experience in Academics
  • Clear and Active Medical License (MD/DO)
  • Provide supervision/precepting twice a week, the residency will begin with only three students each year.
  • Hospital Call: Each provider will take five on-call shifts per month. Call shifts are 12 hours in length.
  • Must be willing to do deliveries.
  • Spanish speaking Provider is highly preferred, but not required.
