Job description

Hospital Coverage for OB-GYN Call

Needed on 11/14/22 starting at 0700.

Coverage Details:

• 24/7 call coverage required.
• Patient age range: 15 - 50 years.
• Temporary privileges granted only in emergency cases.
• Local lodging available or a room on the unit.
• Average number of admissions per shift (when not on call): Low, with approximately 25-30 deliveries per month (about 1 per day).
• Average patients seen while on call: Variable, typically no more than 3-5 ADC in OB Unit. GYN surgeries will be emergent only.

Facility Resources:

• 6 postpartum beds, 2 triage beds, 2 labor beds.

Support Staff:

• 2 RNs on the unit or call team for C-sections.
