Job Summary

Join our dedicated healthcare team at a reputable facility located in Washington, MO, where we prioritize compassionate care and teamwork. Our hospital boasts a well-equipped obstetrics and gynecology department with 16 beds (8 LDRP and 8 couplet/GYN). As a Locum Tenens Physician, you will step in during a transitional period, helping to support the team until a new partner arrives in November.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality obstetric and gynecological care for patients.
• Cover call shifts, particularly during high-need periods from May 16-26 and August 4-10.
• Manage patient encounters, averaging 0-3 patients seen per shift.
• Respond to calls within a required 30-minute timeframe.
• Coordinate with staff, including 1:1 RN support during labor and a full office team.
• Participate in the transition of care for patients until new provider starts.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active medical license (temporary privileges available).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.
• Flexible availability to meet call schedule requirements.
