The Opportunity:
Ob Hospitalist Group is seeking experienced and dynamic OB/GYN physicians to join our clinical leadership team as a Market Medical Director. In this role, you will focus on clinical operations, new program starts, clinical leadership, hospital relationships, and business development support. You will collaborate with our clinical leadership team to ensure quality program delivery that meets both the company's and hospitals' clinical and operational objectives. The role requires working at least five (5) 24-hour hospitalist shifts per scheduling block and travel as needed to address operational priorities at assigned regional programs.
Key responsibilities include overseeing our hospitalist services at assigned hospital programs, participating in new program meetings, conducting clinical interviews, and supporting hospital relationships by communicating regularly with hospital clinical leadership. Additionally, you will provide clinical leadership for business development efforts and ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations. Ideal candidates are board-certified OB/GYN physicians with proven leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to build strong stakeholder relationships.
