Qualifications

Core Faculty OB/GYN Physician

Our client is a premier healthcare organization located in Tampa, FL. They are seeking Clinical Faculty OBGYNs for a new residency program opening this summer. Providers will have their own practice and will also precept two days a week.

The Position: The OB/GYN role is primarily outpatient, private practice, with two days of precepting. Hospital call is limited, with details below:

• Sign-On Bonus: $40,000
• Relocation Assistance: Yes, amount determined case by case
• Base Salary: $380,000
• Additional annual stipend: $15,000 for resident precepting
• PTO: 26 days
• CME: 5 days
• Student Loan Forgiveness: Eligible for the SLFP
• Restrictive Covenant: Yes, one year within a 15-mile radius of practice
• 457f Plan

Responsibilities:

• Clinic hours: Monday to Friday
• Precept two days per week at the residency clinic
• Hospital call: 3 shifts per month, 24 hours each
• Manage up to 24 patients per day

Requirements:

• Full Scope Board Certified OB/GYN with prior academic experience
• Active Medical License (MD/DO)
• Provide supervision/precepting twice weekly; residency begins with three students annually
• Hospital call: 5 shifts per month, 12 hours each; willing to do deliveries
• Must give a grand round presentation during on-site interview
• Spanish speaking preferred but not required
