• Active NC medical license and board certification are required.

Locums - Sylva, North Carolina, OB/GYN Opening

Clinical Role:

• Do you know someone that might be a good fit for this position? Please ask about our generous referral fees!
• Coverage periods: November through December, December pm through December, December through January
• Schedule: Friday - Tuesday coverage each week, including clinic and call duties. Call will be assisted by midwives on weekdays, and weekend coverage involves physician call only.
• Requirements:
  • 50 deliveries including 12 cesareans within 12 months
  • 25 GYN surgeries including 5 major vaginal and abdominal cases
  • All cases within 12 months
• Scheduled Clinic Hours + Call
• EMR Systems: McKesson and Athena
• Patients per shift: 4-6 in hospital, up to 15 in clinic
• Facility beds: 15
• Admissions Required
• Patient Management: Assigned/Unassigned Patients
• Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible, Active NC License, ACLS, Intermediate Fetal Monitoring
• Fellowship: Preferred
• Call Details: Beeper system, response time within 30 minutes, call ratio 0-5
