Barton Associates is seeking an OB/GYN physician for a locum tenens assignment in New Mexico. This opportunity involves providing 24-hour call coverage for 25 non-consecutive days between May 1 and July 28, 2025. The physician will be responsible for managing both obstetric and gynecological cases, including routine and complicated deliveries, FHR interpretation, OB ultrasounds, amniocentesis, and minor gynecological procedures. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable with VBAC deliveries and repairing 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations.

Responsibilities and Duties:

1. Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecological care
2. Manage routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs
3. Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds, including level 1/screening
4. Conduct amniocentesis procedures
5. Interpret fetal heart rate monitoring
6. Repair 3rd and 4th-degree lacerations
7. Perform minor gynecological procedures in office settings
8. Handle obstetric and gynecological emergencies
9. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Epic EMR system
10. Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare professionals
11. Ensure high-quality patient care and maintain professional standards
