Program Overview

The Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital OB/GYN Residency Program, established in 1953, is an ACGME-accredited 4-4-4-4 program located in beautiful St. Petersburg, Florida. This full-time faculty position involves teaching residents across the full spectrum of OB/GYN, including outpatient precepting, inpatient supervision, and OB coverage for deliveries at Orlando Health Bayfront Hospital Center for Women and Babies. Faculty are also responsible for mentorship, administrative duties, and managing a small patient panel. Candidates should have a passion for education and patient-centered care, with an interest in a long-term academic career within a dynamic residency program.

Role Requirements

• MD or DO with OB/GYN specialization, outpatient and inpatient experience
• Board Certified
• Fellowship or focus on complex family planning is a plus
• Ability to obtain Florida Medical License
• Rotating inpatient call coverage required
• Office located at 700 6th St South, St. Petersburg, FL 33701
  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
  • Patients aged 13 and up
• Hospital locations include Orlando Health Bayfront and Johns Hopkins All Children’s in St. Petersburg
