Job Opportunity: Physician - Obstetrics and Gynecology

Join a dedicated team at a rural hospital located in beautiful Rhinelander, Wisconsin. Our facility is in need of a skilled physician to provide call coverage 2-3 weeks per month. The role may involve seeing some clinic patients while covering call, but we also welcome candidates interested in call coverage only. Our hospital utilizes the Cerner EMR system and emphasizes the use of a "real-time" Mobile Time Clock, preferably GPS enabled.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient and outpatient care in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Participate in call coverage, averaging 15 minutes response time.
• See approximately 1-3 patients per shift and handle about 1-3 admissions.
• Respond to phone consults and manage patient care effectively.
• Utilize appropriate technology for timely documentation and patient management.

Qualifications:

• Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Valid medical license with the ability to obtain hospital privileges.
• Experience in a rural or similar setting is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Current medical license in the state of Wisconsin preferred.
• Board certification required or eligibility.
• Hospital privileges are mandatory; temporary privileges may be available.
