Job description

Providence Women's Clinic on the campus of Providence St. Vincent Medical Center (PSVMC) is seeking a board-eligible/board-certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join an experienced and well-established practice in Portland, Oregon. Responsibilities will include prenatal care, gynecologic surgeries and on-call responsibilities at the PSVMC campus with Obstetrician Hospitalist back-up. Join a collaborative practice with Certified Nurse Midwives and Nurse Practitioners, with an emphasis on empathetic, patient-centered care. This is a great opportunity to work alongside talented and compassionate clinicians with the addition of a large referral base, as well as mentorship and leadership opportunities. Resident teaching (GYN) is also available, but not required. Enjoy outstanding quality of life in the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

  • Full-time at 1.0 FTE
  • Call is typically 1:10 nights with mixture of 12 and 24 hour coverage
  • Typical schedule is 3 clinic and/or surgical days plus one or two 12 hour call shifts weekly (including weekends).
  • Practice balance between Obstetrics and Gynecology, approx. 60/40 split
  • Ideal candidates will have an interest in committee participation and/or quality improvement projects
  • Guaranteed salary, generous quality incentive, continuing medical education, relocation assistance available, starting bonus
  • As a non-profit organization, Providence is an eligible employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
