OBGYN Opening in California

Location: Oroville, CA

Type: Full-Time & Permanent

Seeking a BE/BC OBGYN to join the hospital.

Practice Details

1. Clinic hours: Monday to Friday
2. Support staff includes: Medical Assistants, Medical Scribes, and LVN in the office
3. Current team: 2 physicians and 5 CNMs; aiming to increase to 4 physicians
4. Call schedule: 1 in 3, with plans to move to 1 in 4 in the future
5. CNMs handle first call; physicians are called for C-sections and device-assisted deliveries. Most deliveries are managed by CNMs.
6. Clinic volume: 25-35 patients per day
7. Procedures: Shared half-day weekly for Colposcopy, IUD placement, Endometrial biopsies, etc.
8. Shared OR block every other week
9. EMR system: Tenzing
10. Average delivery volume: 40 per month
11. NICU: Level I
12. Open to new graduates; not accepting visas
