Job description

Client in New York Hiring OB/GYN

We are seeking a Certified OB/GYN for a hospital-employed position within a multi-specialty group located in the Southern Tier region of New York, near the Pennsylvania border. The group includes over 200 physicians across more than 20 medical and surgical specialties, affiliated with UHS Hospitals, a regional healthcare leader.

This opportunity is ideal for growth and succession planning. The physician will practice at a large medical center featuring a renovated Level 3 non-regional NICU, seven delivery rooms, an on-site OR, a four-bed triage area with in-house anesthesia, and ultrasound equipment.

The group currently includes 2 GYNs and 5 OB/GYNs. In 2018, the facility recorded 900 deliveries. The practice hours are Monday to Friday, serving a population of over 300,000. Compensation includes a competitive base salary, sign-on bonus, incentives, benefits, and malpractice coverage.

There are also opportunities to teach residents and medical students at the Medical University in Syracuse.
