OBGYN Physician opportunity in Mesa, AZ
We are seeking an OBGYN Physician to join our growing team of physicians providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecological healthcare services. The role involves identifying, managing, and referring health problems and maintaining women's health through obstetrical care, gynecological care, preventive care, and health promotion.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
- Report to the Regional Medical Director
- Provide accessible OB/GYN medical and surgical services to credentialed and privileged patients
- Educate and communicate effectively with patients regarding diagnosis, treatment, preventive measures, and healthcare system navigation
- Deliver treatment based on clinical impressions and working diagnoses
- Maintain accurate, complete, and timely medical records (paper/electronic)
- Ensure appropriate transfer of information for continuity of care
- Evaluate patients courteously and professionally in a timely manner
- Complete all billing documentation accurately
- Perform duties of other OB/GYN clinical personnel as necessary
- Rotate call duties for emergencies during evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned
- Attend CME programs (up to 40 hours per year) and maintain credentialing and privileging in good standing
Minimum surgical expectations include:
- OB patients: Cesarean sections, Cesarean hysterectomy, Suction D&C for spontaneous/missed abortions and retained products, Cervical cerclage (optional), External version (optional)
- GYN patients: Laparoscopic tubal ligation, Treatment of ectopic pregnancy, Hysteroscopy with D&C, Total abdominal hysterectomy, Vaginal hysterectomy (optional), Suction D&C for emergency bleeding, Colposcopy, Contraceptive insertions (e.g., IUD, Nexplanon), LAVH (optional), Laparoscopic hysterectomy (optional), Anterior and posterior repairs (optional), Vaginal sling (optional), Endometrial ablation (optional)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Graduate of an accredited medical school
- Completion of an accredited US OB/GYN residency
- Board certified or eligible
- Valid Arizona medical license
- Valid DEA certificate
- Understanding of clinical methods and techniques
- Effective communication with clients, colleagues, and the public
- Proficiency in basic business English, spelling, and punctuation
- Basic computer skills
- Commitment to our mission, vision, and values

- Valid AZ driver’s license
- CPR and AED certification through AHA or Red Cross courses
- Valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card from the Arizona Department of Public Safety
NON-ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Three years of experience in community health
- Bilingual in English/Spanish (preferred)
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHRs)
