OBGYN Opportunity Near Columbus and Cleveland, Ohio
Located in Mansfield, OH - 70 miles from Columbus and 80 miles from Cleveland
Position Details:
- Full-time, permanent opening
- Qualifications: Current Ohio license to practice medicine (MD or DO); must be Board certified or provide a letter indicating qualification to sit for certification with the expectation of obtaining certification within one year.
- Visa sponsorship available
- Provide services in the primary care field of medicine for which the physician is trained.
- Expected to provide the number of budgeted patient visits annually as determined each year and adjusted with notice—this is a minimal expectation.
- Active collaboration with and supervision of other healthcare providers, including but not limited to Nurse Practitioners.
- Maintain all required licensure, certification, registration, training, and medical knowledge to meet patient needs as determined by the organization.
- Acquire additional trainings, licensures, or certificates as deemed necessary by the group.
- Maintain current patient records and adhere to all applicable laws, customs, and ethics.
- Collaborate professionally with all members of the healthcare team.
- Practice and communicate care in an unbiased and professional manner.
- Comply with administrative standards, including medical reports as outlined by the Chief Medical Officer.
- Notify the Chief Medical Officer of malpractice insurance matters and comply with risk management policies.
- Participate in clinic staff meetings and other required meetings.
- Assist with ongoing quality improvement initiatives.
- Participate in peer review audits of charts.
- Practice cost-effective and efficient care, demonstrating good stewardship of resources.
- Be available by cell phone after hours and on weekends as required, including for consultation with Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
