Job Responsibilities:

• Provide obstetrics and gynecology care to patients during scheduled dates.
• Take second call and provide backup support as needed.
• Collaborate with midwives and nursing staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
• Assist in the management of patient caseloads and ensure timely follow-ups.
• Participate in educational activities and meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in the EMR system (Epic).

Qualifications:

• Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology (eligible candidates will be considered).
• Preferred completion of a fellowship in a related specialty.
• Strong clinical skills and a commitment to providing compassionate patient care.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Active medical license in Pennsylvania or eligibility for IMLC with additional state requirements.
• Completion of 3 hours of education in child abuse recognition and reporting.
• Completion of 4 hours of education relating to pain management and opioid prescribing practices.
