Job description

Healthcare United is seeking a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified OB/GYN Hospitalist to join our staff at a progressive, academic health system in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will handle shift responsibilities including SMD- Site Medical Director, OBED, unassigned OB and GYN care (including emergency GYN surgery, ED and inpatient consults), call coverage for private physicians (when service census and acuity allow), and emergency OB and GYN care for inpatients (until private attending arrival).

Requirements -Board-Eligible/Board-Certified in OB/GYN
-Active or pending medical license
-Strong work ethic
-Excellent communication skills
-Minimum of 2 years of leadership experience with prior OB/GYN Hospitalist team leadership experience

Benefits -$150 per hour with a contracted amount of 144 hours per month
