Job description

The Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN) is dedicated to helping women achieve health, balance, and well-being in all phases of their lives. Responsibilities include:

1. Diagnosing and treating various medical conditions
2. Monitoring illnesses and diseases
3. Conducting routine and wellness visits
4. Performing in-office procedures
5. Managing inpatient and outpatient surgeries
6. Providing obstetrical care, including preconception counseling, prenatal, antenatal, delivery, and postpartum care

The working environment involves sharing a 1 in 3 call schedule, with occasional assistance from Midwives acting as first call on a rotating basis, and an on-call Physician available as backup for emergencies or Cesarean deliveries. The practice is based at one local hospital and three satellite office locations.
