We are currently recruiting Board Certified/Board Eligible OB/GYN Hospitalists for 24-hour beeper call coverage in Hickory, North Carolina - just an hour outside of Charlotte.Open Dates - 2025:- October: 22, 23, 26
- November: 10, 13, 19, 22, 23, 30
- Additional pick-up dates likely between Sept 11 and Dec 31, 2025
- Ongoing coverage needed into 2026
Position Details:- 24-hour call only (7a-7a) - no clinic
- Call type: Beeper 30-minute response time required
- Avg. 3 patients per shift
- Admissions required
- Assigned patient load
- Facility: 8-bed unit
- EMR: Cerner
Requirements:- Board Certified/Board Eligible in OB/GYN
- Active NC license
- BLS certification
- Clean malpractice history to qualify for emergency privileges
- Minimum case volume within the last 12 months:
- 50 total deliveries (12 C-sections minimum)
- 25 procedures including 5 major GYN cases
Call Documentation Expectations:- Patient contact and callback hours must be supported with notes
- Timesheets must detail reason for callbacks for audit compliance
- Only on-site patient care counts toward callback billing; time spent voluntarily on-site without medical need is not billable
