OBGYN opening - Grinnell, IA

Located 55 miles to Des Moines, 66 miles to Cedar Rapids. H1b Eligible.

Position Details

• Full-time position, including dedicated administrative time, with flexible scheduling to ensure sufficient patient access.
• Regional Medical Center is the largest hospital in Iowa between Des Moines and Iowa City, serving more than 47,000 residents in 6 counties.
• Join a team of obstetrics providers: 2 OBGYNs, a Family Medicine Physician trained to perform C-sections, and a Certified Nurse Midwife, with full hospital support.
• 1:3 call schedule.
• New outpatient clinic attached to the hospital, with daVinci Xi robotic surgery onsite, and one of the best ORs in the state.
• Hospital averages over 200 deliveries a year, with potential to grow to 300 deliveries and over 200 procedures.
• 33-bed hospital equipped with remote fetal monitoring, hospital and clinic-based ultrasound, and more.
• Average schedule includes 3.5 days in clinic and 1 day in OR, flexible depending on the physician.
• Level 4 Trauma Emergency Department, with 50 employed providers and 350 employees at the hospital.
• Position open to all candidates, including new graduates.
• Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination.

Compensation and Benefits

Ability to earn bonuses via wRVU and quality metrics. One-year income guarantee commensurate with experience. Sign-on bonus, relocation allowance, and retention bonus eligible. Paid CME time, comprehensive benefits package, and 401(k) with match.
