Job Opportunity: Locum OB/GYN Physician

Join a dedicated team at a critical access hospital located in the scenic town of Damariscotta, Maine. As a locums OB/GYN, you will find yourself at a facility known for its strong OB coverage, while also addressing the growing demand for GYN services.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services with a focus on GYN procedures, including endometrial ablation, IUD insertion/removal, and menopausal management.
• Be on 2nd call most days, managing both in-clinic responsibilities and on-call situations.
• Collaborate with a team of OB/GYNs, FM/OBs, and CNMs to deliver the highest quality of care.
• Assist in managing approximately 120 annual births while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction.
• Engage in a supportive and close-knit team environment committed to continuous improvement and patient care.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in OB/GYN (REQUIRED).
• Active Maine License or Active IMLC (Preferred).
• Willingness to perform routine and advanced GYN exams and procedures (REQUIRED).
• Availability to cover scheduled shifts as needed.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in OB/GYN (Mandatory).
• Active Licensed Physician in Maine or status with the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) preferred.
