Position Overview

Responsibilities

1. Review patients' medical histories
2. Update charts and patient information with current findings and treatments
3. Collect, record, and maintain patient data such as histories, reports, and examination results
4. Provide care during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
5. Prescribe or administer therapy, medications, and other medical treatments
6. Analyze records and test results to diagnose conditions
7. Explain procedures and discuss test results with patients
8. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed
9. Advise on diet, activity, hygiene, and disease prevention
10. Refer patients to specialists when necessary
11. Coordinate activities of medical staff including nurses and assistants
12. Consult with other physicians as needed
13. Design and recommend treatment plans
14. Address patient concerns and answer questions about health and well-being
