We are looking for an experienced physician who is passionate about caring for patients and treating their medical needs. You will perform exams and procedures, counsel patients, and treat patients throughout their lifetime.

Salary:

$224,000.00 - $300,000.00

Hours of operation:

Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Columbus, Georgia

Summary

Obstetricians and Gynecologists are specialized doctors who diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases of women, especially those affecting the reproductive system and childbirth. They provide general medical care for women, as well as care related to pregnancy and the reproductive system. They focus on ailments specific to female anatomy, such as breast and cervical cancer, urinary tract and pelvic disorders, and hormonal disorders.

Obstetricians and Gynecologists also specialize in childbirth, counseling women throughout pregnancy, from prenatal diagnosis to delivery and postpartum care. They monitor and treat both mother and fetus as pregnancy progresses.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Review patient's medical history
2. Update charts and patient information to show current findings and treatments
3. Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical histories, reports, and examination results
4. Care for and treat women during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
5. Prescribe or administer therapy, medication, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury
6. Analyze records, reports, test results, or examination information to diagnose medical conditions
7. Explain procedures and discuss test results or treatments with patients
8. Monitor patients' conditions and progress, reevaluate treatments as necessary
