Perm - Physician - Gynecology Oncology

Join a dynamic team of medical professionals in Colorado Springs, CO, where you can make a difference in the lives of patients. This well-established, high-volume practice is located in Memorial Hospital, a Level I trauma center, providing access to cutting-edge resources, including the da Vinci XI surgical system and a dedicated support network. The practice benefits from a large and loyal referral base from 11 primary care clinics and 4 OB/GYN clinics throughout the area, fostering a collaborative environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage a caseload of 15-22 patients per day, with scheduling flexibility for new and follow-up patients.
• Provide high-quality outpatient care primarily to adult patients.
• Collaborate with a dedicated Nurse Navigator, GYN-specialized Radiation Oncologist, and GYN-specialized Pathologists.
• Participate in research trials and offer trial opportunities to patients.
• Utilize full-spectrum ancillary support including pelvic physical therapy and cancer nutrition counseling.
• Share call responsibilities (1:2), mainly on weekends.
• Access to University of Colorado School of Medicine Tumor Board and potential teaching opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (0-5 years of residency) in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology.
• Active Colorado medical license (or willingness to obtain).
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology, to be completed prior to start.
• Clean malpractice history preferred.

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB/GYN and Gynecological Oncology - REQUIRED.
• Active Colorado license (or willingness to obtain) - REQUIRED.
• Fellowship-trained in Gynecological Oncology - REQUIRED.
• Clean malpractice history - PREFERRED.
