Start and End Dates:

Coverage Details:

• Type: Call Only
• Schedule: Please communicate via email only.
• Confirmed Dates: Fri, Aug 26 starting at 8 AM through Mon, Aug 29 ending at 8 AM

Provider Requirements:

• Must be fully vaccinated.
• Credentialed with Medicare and enrolled with PECOS.
• Active NC license and NC DEA (NC address).
• Provide NPI number in bid.
• Must have NC Medicaid Credential.
• No recent or open malpractice cases; details required in submission.
• Within driving distance or travel capped at $500 (includes mileage, rental car, gas, airfare).
• All-inclusive rate preferred or include 4-6 gratis hours; otherwise, provider will not be considered.
• Case logs from the last 2 years from a hospital (not estimates) required in submission.

Responsibilities:

• Round on patients, on-call for emergent C-sections and vaginal deliveries.
• Available for emergent GYN procedures.
• High risk deliveries are emergent only; no NICU at our facility.
• High risk transfers to New Hanover Regional or Cape Fear Valley (approx. 30-45 mins). Level 1 nursery at Sampson Regional.

Additional Details:

• Provider will be housed in hospital apartments adjacent to the facility.
• Must be within 20 minutes per hospital bylaws.
• Hospital will contact via cell phone.
• Patients per shift: varies.
