OBGYN Partnership with Physician Owned Practice

Metro Sacramento, 1 Hour to Napa

Join an established, well-respected multispecialty group of 150+ clinicians (roughly 100 physicians and 50 APPs/other professionals) that has been caring for its residents for over 100 years. The practice is physician owned and operated. Incoming physicians will be a pre-shareholder for the first 2 years, then invited to become shareholders. The shareholder contract is evergreen. Each shareholder owns 1 share; everyone is equal. Located only an hour to Napa and a two-hour drive to Lake Tahoe, offering access to the highest concentration of ski resorts in the country, with record-breaking annual snowfall and stunning views of Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada mountains.

OBGYN Team Details:

• The team currently comprises 2 physicians and 5 Advanced Practice Providers.
• Plan to add 3 physicians to the practice.
• Call schedule: 1:5, utilizing OBGYN locums until fully staffed.
• Split evenly between Obstetrics and Gynecology (50/50).
• Average of 20-25 patients per day.
• Handling high-risk pregnancies with access to MFM in Sacramento.
• High-risk cases transferred to a higher acuity center at 35 weeks.
• Oncology and Uro-gynecology cases are referred out.
• Utilizes Cerner EMR system.

Hospital Details:

• Not-for-Profit, faith-based hospital with 105 beds.
• Designated as a baby-friendly facility.
• Family Birth Center with private spacious suites, labor tubs, and free Doula services.
• 24/7 support person access, with comfortable overnight sleepers.
• Options for pain management, skin-to-skin bonding, and lactation support services.
• Birthing Center with 7 LDRs.
• No NICU; sick babies are transferred out.
• Hospital is in the process of purchasing a robot.
• No elective terminations allowed.
