Position Details

• Primarily outpatient with on-call privileges at a local hospital
• Community-shared OBGYN call schedule
• FQHC with NHSC loan repayment options
• Flexible schedules: 8 or 10-hour shifts
• Clinics serve rural and underserved populations, providing outpatient services
• Responsible for providing medical care related to pregnancy, childbirth, and general women's health

Job Duties

• Provide care during prenatal, natal, and postnatal periods
• Diagnose, treat, and monitor diseases and conditions affecting women
• Prescribe medications following standardized procedures
• Perform Pap smears, pelvic, and breast exams
• Assess mood and emotional well-being postpartum
• Collaborate with medical and non-medical personnel
• Monitor patient progress and improve outcomes
• Educate patients on treatment plans, side effects, and medication risks
• Promote disease prevention and reproductive health
• Maintain detailed documentation
• Conduct routine check-ups and follow-ups
• Provide excellent patient communication and customer service
• Manage multiple tasks efficiently
