OBGYN opportunity in Bowling Green, KY

1 hour from Nashville, TN. Service area of over 100,000 people. The City of Bowling Green is nationally recognized by the US Chamber of Commerce for its economic development performance for seven consecutive years.

Position Details:

1. Full-time, permanent opening
2. Clinic is a private medical group, completely owned and managed by shareholder physicians.
3. Practice located in South Central Kentucky, Bowling Green, KY
4. Seeking additional BE/BC OB/GYN due to growth
5. OB/GYN Group currently has 7 physicians doing deliveries; plus 3 physicians doing only GYN and 4 Nurse Practitioners
6. Office equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, offering many practice options
7. Admit to a level 2.5 nursery with 11 LDRs (no LDRPs); has full-time neonatologist and NPs. Hospital: Med Center Health; second hospital in town does not do deliveries.
8. Hospital performs 2,400 deliveries, with the group handling over half
9. Excellent payor mix with approximately 65% commercial insurance
10. Blend of OB and GYN practice, averaging 7 surgeries per week per physician
11. C-section rate is 30%, including both primary and repeat
12. Nursery can keep babies born at 28 weeks and above; others are transferred out
13. Postpartum unit with 34 beds
14. Position reserved regarding abortion services
15. EMR system: Altera TouchWorks
16. Ambulatory Surgery Center in Warren County now open
