Position: OB/GYN Physician

Responsibilities:

1. Under the direction of the CMO/Medical Director, supervise and administer clinical services in primary health care clinics and perform OB/GYN services.
2. Examine, diagnose, and treat patients seeking Women’s Health services.
3. Determine the necessity for referral and refer women requiring special diagnostic procedures and treatments to appropriate sources.
4. Discuss findings with other providers.
5. Supervise the work of the professional staff.
6. Maintain clinic records.
7. Provide prenatal care and treat GYN problems in the target population.
8. Advise and counsel patients, considering individual, cultural, psychological, social, and environmental factors.
9. Coordinate patient services to promote continuous and comprehensive care.
10. Collaborate and consult closely with other physicians.
11. Participate in QA, Peer Review, and maintain confidentiality.
12. Engage in QI, chart audits, and process improvement programs.

Qualifications:

Requirements: Knowledge of the principles and practices of modern medicine, including preventive medicine. Mature judgment, tact, discretion, and confidentiality are mandatory. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Other Requirements: Dependable automobile with insurance, valid California driver’s license, passing drug test, criminal background clearance, credentialing clearance, proof of COVID-19 vaccination (including booster), MMR, Tdap, Hepatitis B, recent TB test, and BLS certification.

Qualifications: Valid Physician and Surgeon’s License issued by the State of California, OB/GYN Physician B/C or B/E.
