Job description

Location: Alamogordo, NM

Duration: As soon as credentialed and ongoing until Perm is hired

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. with call, one week per month

Shift: 2-4 weeks per month, ideal candidate is full-time

Call: 1 in 4, including 1 weekend per month + 1 week per month. About 4-5 calls per 24-hour shift.

Patient volume: Clinic average: 25 patients; call back average per 24-hour shift: 1-2; approximately 40-45 deliveries per month. Patients will be unassigned and assigned, as this OB group is the only group covering call at GCRMC.

Scope: Clinic + call, + inpatient privileges

EMR: Hospital on Cerner, Clinic on Athena

Hospital:

Group/support: No midwives, 3 OB-GYNs, 1 GYN-only, no APPs

Requirements (boards, license): Must be Certified or truly board eligible, comfortable with Clinic + call. They will not consider just clinic vs. laborist. Must have an active NM license.
